To help you get ready for Career Week, the Career Connections Center hosted “Prepare for Career Week: How to Stand Out to Employers,” focused on preparing you for next week’s Career Showcase events. The workshop provided guidance on research, professional communication and introductions, and networking with potential employers. Representatives from Honeywell, Teach for America, and Arthrex introduced their companies, discussed opportunities available to students, and shared about what to expect in your interactions with recruiters. The panelists emphasized the importance of thorough preparation, strong communication skills, and follow-up strategies for students attending career fairs.
