Career Showcase is just around the corner, and we want Gators to feel confident, polished, and prepared. That’s why the Career Connections Center (C3) is offering Extended Services Hours from Wednesday, September 24 to Friday, September 26, designed to help you shine before the big day!
Drop-In Career Planning: Your Showcase Rehearsal
During Career Prep Week, you’ll have access to 15-20 minute drop-in sessions with C3 staff and employer representatives from organizations like Aflac, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Dyenamic Media, Florida Auditor General’s Office, Honeywell, Karins Engineering, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, and Toyota Motor North America.
Whether you’re working on your first resume draft or refining a final version, these sessions offer:
- Personalized resume feedback
- Career Showcase strategy tips
- Networking advice
- Insider insights from industry professionals
Drop-In Career Planning Hours:
- In-Person: Wednesday & Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM (C3 Innovation Rooms – First Floor Reitz Union)
- Virtual: Thursday, 10 AM – 4 PM
- To access the virtual session:
- Log into your GCL account
- Navigate to “Career Planning Appointment”
- During drop in hours click the “Drop In” button
- A staff member will accept your appointment, and you will be prompted with further instructions (*Please log into Zoom with your University of Florida credentials)

Need help finding the perfect outfit for Showcase? The Career Closet will also be open with extended hours during Career Prep Week. C3 staff will be on hand to help you select professional attire that fits your style and goals.
