Environment, Design, Manufacturing, and Agriculture  

The resources and tools found within this community have been designed and curated to support students who are interested in fields related to environmental sustainability, natural resources, agriculture, and the design and production of goods and systems. This community covers three main industry areas:  

Environmental and Agricultural Systems 
Careers in this area center on sustaining and enhancing our natural resources. Professionals work to grow and manage food systems, steward land and water, and protect ecosystems. Pathways include sustainable agriculture, agribusiness, environmental science, forestry, and conservation. 

Natural Resource Management, Environmental Design, and Architecture 
This field combines science, design, and innovation to responsibly plan, build, and manage both natural and constructed environments. Careers may include sustainable architecture, landscape design, ecological restoration, land use planning, and climate-resilient infrastructure. Professionals in this area work to create buildings and spaces that support environmental health, resource conservation, and community sustainability. 

Manufacturing, Production, and Sustainability Technologies 
Professionals in this area turn raw and renewable materials into products and systems that support daily life. Careers include roles in advanced manufacturing, sustainable product design, systems engineering, and green technology—connecting innovation with environmental responsibility.
