Pro Tip: Focus on one or two key experiences—like an internship, leadership role, or research—that align with your goals instead of trying to do everything.

Pro Tip: Use Career Hub for self-guided career exploration, connect with career coaches, and explore UF’s career tools, including assessments, resume resources, and networking events.

FAQs

Start by identifying your skills, interests, and values using career assessments available in CHOMP. Explore career categories, review industry trends, and connect with career coaches for personalized guidance.

The earlier, the better! Some industries recruit up to a year in advance. Use Career Hub to find and attend career fairs and employer networking events to explore opportunities.  Also, use Gator Careerlink, the exclusive job board for Gators, to explore internships and co-ops.

Pro Tip: Fill out your Gator CareerLink profile to get customized job/internship recommendations!

Start researching programs, GPA requirements, and application timelines early. CareerHub provides grad school planning tools and connects you with advisors who can guide you through the process.

Pro Tip: If you are applying the Fall after you graduate undergrad, ensure applications are submitted by the December prior.
