2026 Chemical Engineering Networking Night

Chemical Engineering Networking Night

Thursday, September 3, 2026, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Located in the Chemical Engineering Student Center

Join us for the 2026 Chemical Engineering Networking Night at the University of Florida. This event provides employers with an opportunity to connect with undergraduate and graduate students from the Department of Chemical Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, as well as recent graduates seeking internship and full-time career opportunities.

Designed as a more personal and interactive alternative to a traditional career fair, the evening emphasizes meaningful networking, mentorship, and career-focused conversations between employers and students. The relaxed format encourages participants to build connections, learn about career paths, and explore opportunities across a wide range of industries.

UF Chemical Engineering students are known for their strong technical foundation and real-world experience. The program currently enrolls more than 400 undergraduate students and 90 graduate students, with 96% of undergraduates participating in experiential learning opportunities. Graduates are recruited into impactful roles across industries including energy, chemicals, biotechnology, semiconductors, food, personal care, environmental engineering, and advanced manufacturing.

There is no cost to participate. We welcome organizations interested in engaging with UF chemical engineering talent, sharing insights about their industry, and building relationships with the next generation of engineers.
