5-Minute STEM Speed Networking

Join us for 5-Minute STEM Speed Networking, an engaging event designed to help students connect with professionals across a variety of STEM fields while building confidence in their networking skills. This event is open to all students!

• Time: 5:30–7:30 p.m EST.
• Location: Innovation Room | Career Connections Center | Reitz Union

In collaboration with the UFTeach Minor, this event highlights how strong communication, leadership, and teaching skills can be valuable assets across STEM careers—not just in the classroom.

You’ll have the opportunity to rotate through brief networking conversations with professionals in fields including healthcare (doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners), data analytics, software engineering and technology, research and academia, public health, STEM outreach and education, and UFTeach alumni and STEM educators.

By attending, you can:

• Build confidence in professional networking conversations
• Explore a variety of STEM career paths
• Learn how communication and teaching skills translate to workplace success
• Make valuable connections that could lead to internships, mentorship opportunities, and future career advice
