We are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our Project Management team in our Titusville, Florida office.
Project management responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, working with the project management team to manage subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, maintaining various logs, utilizing document control tools, utilizing and updating project schedules, preparation and submission of payment requests, participation in change management, preparation and review of project related correspondence, and providing assistance and support to the project site teams.
The successful candidate will also be exposed to working with the preconstruction team, reviewing and understanding plans and specifications, working with the preconstruction team to solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing, estimating (quantity takeoffs), bidding, buyout, and preparation of subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an engineering or building construction program
- Ability to successfully manage multiple and competing priorities
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suites
- Work in a team environment
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills
