Responsibilities

What you’ll do…
• Leverage advanced technology to redefine the future of mobility, solve real human problems, and improve people’s lives.
• Grow your expertise and analytical skills through collaboration with a global, cross-functional team, exposure to new technology and tools used to improve vehicles and customer experience.
• Collaborate with features Subject Matter Experts, user experience teams, and functional partners to deliver to vehicle program milestones 
• Lead development and execution of design verification testing plan and sign-off.  
• Leverage connected data to identify, triage, and resolve quality/warranty concerns
• Develop a cross-functional network, meet professionals at all levels of the company, and participate in networking and social activities with other FCGs.
• Define, design, develop and deploy Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features and their supporting platforms 
• Use agile, test-driven development principles to ensure quality, on-time delivery
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional stakeholders and a balanced team of developers to deliver projects and features
• Work with a mentor to develop a rotational plan tailored to experiences that match your career interests with the needs of the team

 

Qualifications

You’ll have…

• Pursuit of a relevant Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or a related technical field 
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Must be available to work full time during the summer of 2026 season
• Flexibility in work location; most work assignments will be located in SE Michigan

Even better, you may have…
• Experience in project management and/or an integration role, leading and directing other team members.
• General knowledge or experience, preferably in developing features in the Driver Assistance domain, using radars, cameras, lidars, ultrasonic sensors and other related vehicle systems (body, electrical, chassis, powertrain)
• Familiarity with actuators and control systems
• Exposure to vehicle attributes development (Vehicle Dynamics, NVH, Package, Performance/FE, etc.) 
• Proven technical skills using automotive software tools (e.g., Vector CANalyzer, and CANape, dSPACE ControlDesk) 
• Experience in software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality software development such as 
o Software Development: C++ & Python 
o Software Modeling: MATLAB & Simulink 
o Computer Vision 
o Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence  
o Autonomous Controls 
o ADAS features, testing, and data analysis 
• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering fundamentals/practices (i.e., requirements and design validation methods creation/traceability, Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (FMEA) development, etc.) and tools (e.g., MagicDraw)
