Giangrande Engineering & Planning (GEP) is seeking a full-time Civil/Site Development Engineer I or II. This position is entry to mid-level and requires a degree in civil engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to live, work, and play in the beautiful Treasure Coast area of Florida and will contribute to GEP’s mission of making our clients successful by delivering practical and innovative solutions.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, collect, compile, and analyze data from physical work sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, subsurface utility information, maps, geotechnical data, and other resources for project development, design, and construction.
- Assist with performing civil engineering work, including research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, resources, buildings, infrastructure, and transportation systems to ensure conformance with applicable rules, standards, and permits.
- Perform routine engineering tasks and provide technical assistance on design requirements, operating strategies, and infrastructure safety and functionality.
- Conduct construction site visits.
- Assist with verifying the characteristics of a site and providing basic technical assistance on various engineering, design, and construction issues.
- Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and field logs.
- Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures, including location data, statistical documentation, engineering studies, and surveys.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
