Our interns work on new film productions daily. We need skilled interns and product managers to work and train with our Tanzanian team. The work includes:
• Scriptwriting
• Directing
• Cinematography
We are looking for the following:
• Production Assistance
• Lighting personnel
• Sound personnel
• Editing personnel
• Social media professionals
• Makeup personnel and other essential film staff
We use our social media pages for advocacy work. Our Facebook pages have more than 50K followers.
The Tanzanian movie sector is a fast-growing industry. However, the industry is competing with initiatives like Nollywood in Nigeria.
Interns will work on a production team with individuals with different backgrounds and skill levels.

Academic-level team leaders supervise your internship daily. We also monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure your progress in your study program.
The internship outcome is learning to use and get experience implementing your education in developing country conditions with limited capacity and a better understanding of the opportunities in a fast-growing economy.
Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Your program can be from 2 weeks up to 12 months.
The program is ongoing, and we can adjust your start dates. We accept applications from all students and alumni. Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower our daily work with the communities.
You can also conduct the thesis and related tasks. The typical daily tasks include practical fieldwork, planning, reporting, and visibility.
The start and end dates are flexible and accommodate other travel arrangements in Tanzania.
You and your visiting friends can enjoy low-cost, sustainable tours and safaris.
We need your tentative arrival and departure date to book you and open your account.
The Benefits and Perks are as follows:
Accommodation and meals are personal expenses. For 1-13 weeks, EUR 175 per week covers accommodation with breakfast and dinner and the student compound, and from week 14 onwards, it is EUR 125 weekly.
Airport transfer is EUR 60 in one way, which is a personal expense.
A charity visa for immigration, which costs USD 50, is a personal expense. A multiple-entry visa for less than 12 months is USD 250.
We pay you a USD 50 monthly stipend, which is small but twice Tanzania’s national minimum wage. The grant requires a minimum participation of four weeks.
Flights are a personal expense.
Local transport, if any, is a personal expense.
