Radio Show Production/Sales Internship (Remote)
Living Full Out Inc. is seeking an intern to assist with the production and marketing aspects of the “Living Full Out with Nancy Solari” national radio show. The internship offers hands-on training and a great opportunity to assist with a live National radio program. You will work alongside well-known motivational speaker and life coach Nancy Solari, founder and CEO of Living Full Out. If you are looking for experience in the broadcasting industry and want to get your foot in the door, this opportunity is for you.
Projects related to this internship may include:
- Learning how to research potential guests for the show and looking at what criteria to look for in the vetting and booking process.
- Doing show prep, scheduling potential guests, and creating production documents.
- Writing and scheduling show notes for marketing purposes.
- Assisting with the writing of promos for the show and understanding how shows are syndicated.
- If in-studio, assist the producer with lighting and/or cameras.
- Contributing during live shows by doing social media outreach.
- Learning how to prepare a guest for the live show and how to follow up with them to nurture that relationship.
- Researching news articles relevant to the theme of the show.
- Using LinkedIn and other social media tools to find, research, book, and promote guests with inspirational stories.
Skills should include: Ability to work independently and with a team, effective organizational skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines, driven and goal-oriented, excellent verbal and written English skills, leadership skills are a plus.
This is a 20-week, unpaid/volunteer remote internship. The intern clearly joins our program with the clear understanding that they can get college credit and we will do any evaluations or progress reports for professors to track the student’s progress. Students are aware that there is no expectation of compensation or promise of compensation. The intern knows that their role is in an educational structure, not as an employee.
