Position Overview:
Montverde Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Information Intern to assist the Sports Information Manager with coverage of our athletic programs. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in sports media, journalism, public relations, or digital content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Write press releases, game recaps, and feature stories for the Montverde Academy website and social media platforms.
- Help manage and update the athletics website with schedules, rosters, and news articles.
- Create engaging social media content, including graphics and videos, to promote Montverde Academy’s athletic teams and their successes.
- Conduct interviews with coaches and student-athletes for articles and multimedia content.
- Assist with archiving and organizing historical records of Montverde Academy athletics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sports Information Director.
