Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PCP/Functional Medicine Physician/MD to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is also open to new graduates who are eager to make a meaningful impact in patient care. The ideal candidate will have a holistic approach to medicine, focusing on the overall well-being of patients while utilizing evidence-based practices. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care and functional medicine services, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, OR ON-CALL HOURS!! This is a PRN/Part-Time position – very flexible hours – you make your own schedule!
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage chronic conditions through health coaching and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
- Offer preventive care services, including screenings.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards.
- Provide education on health-related topics, including nutrition and wellness.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in using EMR systems like Epic for efficient patient management.
- Knowledge of acute pain management.
- Experience with basic life support.
- Background in family medicine or primary care settings is preferred.
