We are seeking experienced structural engineers to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and contractors, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards.
We have on site (Frederick, MD), hybrid, and remote work options available.
Responsibilities
- Perform calculations to ensure structurally safe projects involving steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures.
- Provide professional consultations on repairs, designs, and construction.
- Participate in project meetings and take an active role in helping design team resolve concerns and solve problems.
- Perform construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and performing site visits to the construction site as needed to help resolve construction issues.
- Assist in analyzing the critical path schedule for design and construction projects.
- Prepare, review, and approve project documents including building and systems designs, estimates, specifications, bid packages, technical and engineering correspondence, and reports.
- Performs engineering and project management work to protect life, safety, health, and property.

- Experience with both AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with ENERCALC, ForteWEB, and Risa
