This position is a full-time, time-limited Core Research Facility Technician III (CRFT III) position in the Monoclonal Antibody (MA) Core in the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR). The MA Core provides scientific resources for the production, purification, and applications of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. The CRFT IIII will be involved in all aspects of monoclonal antibody production in mice including customer consultations, rodent immunization and handling, ELISAs, mammalian cell culture and protein affinity chromatography. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges and microplate readers, and cryogenic freezers. The incumbent must be detail-oriented and customer service oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is desired with the ability to follow oral and written instructions/protocols, and effective time management and planning.

Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in related scientific field required with hands-on experience in basic laboratory and scientific methods. Optionally, 4 years of experience in science related field with at least 3 years in core specific applications. Research-based experience preferred. Core or technology specific licensure and/or certifications where applicable. Additionally yearly certificate and compliance training if required.
