Veterans in Supply Chain (VSC)Veterans in Supply Chain is seeking a Communications Intern to help tell the story of our organization, our members, and our mission.Unlike traditional communications internships focused on routine administrative work, VSC’s Communications Intern will help shape the voice of a growing national nonprofit. This role is responsible for creating compelling written content that informs, inspires, and strengthens engagement across our community.Responsibilities
- Write monthly member newsletters.
- Develop Veteran, Employer, Sponsor, and Volunteer Spotlight articles.
- Draft press releases and organizational announcements.
- Write website news articles and organizational updates.
- Assist with executive messaging and communications.
- Edit and proofread written materials across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify stories worth sharing.
Ideal Candidates
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong interviewing and storytelling abilities.
- Attention to detail and professional communication.
- Interest in nonprofit leadership, veterans, business, or communications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
