Gainesville | Affiliated Engineers
We live, work, and play in the “Heart of Florida,” a vibrant community stimulated by the intellectual culture of our premier research university and a diverse mixture of professionals elevating Gainesville well beyond a typical college town. Live close to everything you need, work on a winning team, and enjoy the natural areas that abound in our region, including rivers, springs, forests, and the “nature coast” – an unspoiled stretch of the Gulf of Mexico that‘s a mecca for those looking to hook the big fish or kayak through a saltwater marsh to a hidden island hammock.
Located in a new urban town center, our office is convenient to many shops and restaurants as well as a fitness center, doctor offices, and other professional services. Our contemporary open space overlooks the town square and a community golf course, and sits around the corner from a local brew house where you can often find some of us at the end of the day. Friday night concerts and outdoor movie nights on the square are popular with families, as are such special weekend events as art festivals and antique car shows.
Gainesville is home to Florida‘s largest and oldest university, a hub for technology transfer from research to emerging business markets, particularly in engineering and the life sciences. The “Innovation District” located downtown is stimulating local growth and providing business incubator facilities for local entrepreneurs. Combined with the university medical science complex, first class hospitals, and a bio-science research park, local core market opportunities are abundant
