The Shift in Hiring Decisions: Skills over GPA

As the job landscape continues to evolve, employers are moving away from GPA and major as the primary factors in hiring decisions. What does this mean for you? It means that your skills and competencies are now more important than ever! Employers across all industries are looking for candidates with specific skills. By developing these skills, you’ll future-proof your career and become a more attractive candidate.
