My name is Kanisha Grayson and I am the founder of the Art of Applying. It's a company that helps people all over the world apply to top business school, policy school and law schools. We do work with other graduate programs, but those three are the most popular ones and we also do joint degrees. So combining those and then also helping people find scholarships and fellowships to pay for graduate school. The way people find me is they're usually like Googling late at night feeling anxious about something. Let's say they Google, should I round up my GPA. Their GPA is 3.47, is at a 3.5 or is it a 3.47. And I have written on the Art of Applying.com, should you round up your GPA? So they stumble on the website. They read and get their answer and then they just start clicking around reading more stuff. They read my story, the stories of other clients, the stories of my team and they feel like, "Oh, like these people are cool. I trust them. I like them." Then they sign up for my free weekly newsletter. So, then, they start hearing from me and my team every week and then finally they usually choose to buy something. Meaning that we can help them with any part of the application process. There's something called a deep dive that I do with clients, which is a 50 minute Skype call, where we go through their background, their experiences, their goals, basically their whole life story and figure out which school should they apply to, which ones are they competitive for, which should they be doing next to become a stronger applicant. A lot of times they just know they want to go to grad school, but they don't know what they actually wanted to do after grad school, which is actually the point of going to grad school [laughs] is like preparing yourself for your future.
