>> Hey, my name's Jeff Lyman. I'm a graphic designer. So mostly my job entails web design, a little bit of user experience design, and a lot of digital design. So I'll be designing advertisements for the digital space mainly, like banner ads for websites, designing for blogs, designing full-scale websites, and working with developers to build those sites out. In the past year, I've developed 3 websites. So that would consist of, you know, a home page ,graphics for the page, front-end development, which means I'm doing light coding, not full-scale, you know, building a website from scratch, only the layout and how it looks visually to the user and how the person interacts with the website. As a designer, I mean, part of your responsibilities if you're working with a brand are to either develop brand standards or to maintain the brand standards. Now, creating a brand is you kind of draw inspiration based on what's working in the field today, and also what will connect with the person that you're trying to create this brand for. Basically whoever's going to be using your product or your website or, you know, interacting with your body of work, that's the person that you really want to design for. So you know, if you're designing for a group of people that you know really like a certain typeface or a certain color, then you're going to want to go down and explore that path.
