>> My name is Jennifer Aikme [assumed spelling]. I am a middle school instructional coach in Tennessee. It involves a lot of collaboration. There will be a lot of planning with teachers. Being -- always being a life-long learner. Making sure that you are -- you know, I have to prepare and know strategies, to know what will work best with different teachers. I usually get to school about 6:45. School starts around 8:00. Morning time is my time to get my stuff done. I get there -- as a special ED teacher, I would work on IEP's, you know, prepare for the day, if I have, you know, those coming up. Then I would make sure my day -- I had everything ready for the day. Which could mean making copies of something that I'm using in the classroom. You know, passing out materials before the students get there. Arranging the desks into the groups, with whatever activity we're doing. It could mean a meeting with a professional learning community of teachers to plan out something that we're going to be doing. It could mean working -- I was a mentor to a new teacher. So, I could meet with that new teacher during that time.
