>> Hi, my names Jim Kuzma. I'm owner and operator of JR Kuzma Painting, Incorporated. Still today, after 34 years in business I get the most enjoyment and rewarding feeling at the end of a job from dealing with the individual homeowner. I'll get a call from a homeowner thinking about painting the inside of their house. We'll set up an appointment. I'll go by and meet with him, introduce myself, and they'll tell me what they're thinking about doing. I'll give them my advice, some suggestions here, there, as much as they want. If I've got a client who's thrilled with the job, then that made me feel good. I've got somebody who paid me money to do a service, paint their house. At the end of the day when I walk away, they're thrilled. They love their house, and I'm the one that provided that service. Intrinsically, that's a nice feeling. What I strive to do with my business is be as punctual and honest as possible. We do a lot of work for large construction companies. Companies that own large office complexes. We'll go into an office building every time a new tenant sign a lease, a new tenant comes in or they update their lease, part of their lease is update on their painting and carpeting. What we'll do is we'll go in there and provide that. A lot of these offices will close down five o'clock on Friday, open up nine o'clock on Monday morning. That gives us about two and a half days to go in there and do whatever we need to do. Might be a 1500 square foot office, could be a 15,000 square foot office. Could be occupied, could be empty. I would say in the last couple years, we have been using many more bright, lively, vibrant colors than maybe 15, 20 years ago. Much as you will see people out jogging in bright neon pink and yellow in their shoes, their running outfits, now we're seeing people put those kind of colors on their family rooms, on their children's bedrooms. Thirty-four years ago when I got my first client, I can still remember exactly the house it was. When people were asking me what I was doing, and I said, well, I'm painting houses. And I was like, there was no way I wanted to be a painter for my career. Well, one thing led to another, and I was a painter, and then I realized slowly but surely, I was running a business. I'm not a painter, per se. I'm a business owner.
