Dawn is a Senior Sales Manager with Erie Insurance. Based out of Richmond, VA, Dawn’s main responsibilities are to assistant her region’s sales team with marketing, training, and joining in on joint sales calls.

>> My name's Dylan Badie [assumed spelling] I am a senior sales manager for Erie Insurance. So, that includes having a territory of Virginia, Maryland, and DC, where I help agents with different things such as marketing, training, joint sales calls with some of their bigger clients. Specializing in life insurance and annuities. So, a lot of our agents are property and casualty agents, so they don't have a lot of knowledge on the life insurance side, so I try to get them up to speed on that part of it. I do continuing education classes and then also do individual training. So, I am a certified financial planner. So, when they get in those bigger cases I help walk them through the process. I'll go out with them doing those sales calls so they can learn hands on too. So, a lot of our agents, I had mentioned they're property and casualty agents, so, that's where I come in with those bigger agents that they have gotten on the property/casualty side and then re-cross sell them on the life insurance. So, some of the bigger agents might be like business owners, so we're talking about like perpetuation planning or they might be high net worth. So, then I help advise them on estate planning. Things along those areas.
