Drop-In Career Planning (15-min no appointment career consultation)
Students can meet with a Career Ambassador for a 15–20-minute drop-in session where no appointment is needed.
We can help with:
- Professional Documents (Resumes/CVs, Cover Letters, Personal Statements)
- Interviewing Preparation and Mock Interviews
- LinkedIn Profiles
- Finding Meaningful Experiences
- Quick Career Planning Questions (Building Connections, Professional Communication, Job and Internship Search Support)
Please note that the Drop-In Career Planning service is only available for current UF students and alumni up to one year after graduation.
Spring Drop-In Career Planning Hours (January 12 – April 22)
- Hours: 1:00pm-4:00pm | Students can join anytime between 1:00-3:45pm
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday – In Person in the C3
- Thursday- Virtual
For Virtual Log-In:
- Log into your GCL account
- Navigate to “Career Planning Appointment”
- During drop in hours click the “Drop In” button
- A staff member will accept your appointment and you will be prompted with further instructions

Drop-In Career Planning will not be available on the following dates:
- MLK Jr. Birthday – Monday, January 19
- Career Week – Monday, February 2 – Friday, February 6
- Spring Break Week – Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 20
- Reading Days – Thursday, April 23 – Friday, April 24
- Finals Week – Monday, April 27 – Friday, May 1
- Summer Break Week: Monday, May 4 – Friday, May 8
What to Bring:
Please bring any supporting materials to help us facilitate your Drop-In Career Planning experience. You can bring a hard copy of documents or we can review them on a laptop or tablet.
