These experiences help you develop useful skills and build professional connections. This community will support you in identifying opportunities, assessing their relevance, and determining what best fits your current stage of your career journey.

Experience Type: Determine whether you’re seeking an internship, part-time job, volunteer role, research opportunity, or another experience. 

Skill Development: Identify the skills you want to gain or strengthen through this experience. 

Career Alignment: Consider how this experience connects to your long-term career aspirations. 

Eligibility & Requirements: Check if you meet the qualifications and expectations for the opportunity.

Federal Work Study (FWS): A need-based financial aid program that provides part-time jobs for eligible students to earn money for educational expenses. It’s a great way to gain work experience while balancing your studies. 

OPS, or “Other Personnel Services”: employment comprises the University of Florida’s at-will, temporary jobs.
